Connect your client
Sign in to onecloud, choose a project and open AI integration (MCP). Select the guide for your client.
Register https://dash.onecloud.im/api/mcp and complete onecloud sign-in and OAuth approval. Client availability and settings depend on its plan and version.
Available data
11 read-only tools cover projects, connections, manual costs, cost summaries, daily costs, top cost drivers, forecasts, anomalies, alert rules, search and document retrieval.
Your organization and project permissions apply. Provider API keys and secret credentials are never returned.
Ask useful cost questions
‘For this project and the past 30 days, compare service spending with the previous period.’
‘Compare costs with billing usage where available and suggest a review order.’ Avoid treating missing usage, potential savings or forecasts as confirmed facts.
Disconnect and verify
Disconnect the client and revoke its approval in onecloud's connected-app controls when no longer needed. Disconnecting AI does not delete cost records.
Verify the project, date range and currency in answers. Compare final amounts with provider billing records; forecasts are estimates.
Questions and answers
Can MCP change cloud resources?
No. onecloud MCP tools are read-only. They do not create or delete resources, change provider settings or import costs.
Can AI access every project?
Organization and project read permissions still apply. Approval does not grant access to data the user cannot view.
